How to Add or Edit a Team Member in WP Team Manager
Creating and managing team profiles is easy with WP Team Manager. This guide walks you through the process of adding a new team member and updating existing profiles.

Where to Find It
From your WordPress dashboard, go to:
Team → Add New Team Member
or
Team → Team → Click Edit under an existing member.
Basic Fields
When adding a new team member, you’ll find several input fields to capture key information:
- Name – The team member’s full name (used as the post title).
- Job Title – Their position or role in the company.
- Email Address – For contact or display purposes.
- Phone Numbers – Both Office and Mobile (Personal).
- Location – Office, branch, or region.
- Years of Experience – Use this to showcase expertise.
- Web URL – A link to their portfolio or LinkedIn profile.
- vCard – Upload a downloadable vCard file.
Member Profile Image
Use the Featured Image box on the right-hand panel to upload the team member’s photo.
Assign to Groups & Taxonomies
You can organize team members by assigning them to:
- Groups – Departments, regions, or teams.
- Designations – Roles like Manager, Developer, etc.
- Departments – Such as Marketing, Engineering, HR.
- Genders – For internal categorization or filters.
This helps you group members logically for frontend layouts or filtering.
Image Gallery (Optional)
If enabled, you can upload additional images to display in a member’s Image Gallery. This is useful for photo shoots, events, or personal branding.
Skills (Pro)
Add custom skill bars to showcase competencies. Example:
- “Project Management – 90%”
- “UI/UX Design – 75%”
These appear as animated progress bars on the member detail page or layout.
Social Profiles
Add social media links for each team member such as:
- GitHub
- Email, Website, and more
Each profile is displayed with an icon and optional hover effects.
Layout Options (via Team Generator)
If using the Team Generator, you can control how and where this member appears — including grid, slider, list, and table layouts — and override default styling.
Publishing the Member
Once all details are filled in:
- Click Publish to make the profile live.
- Click Update if you’re editing an existing member.
