The Team Generator allows you to create a display of your team members using a shortcode. The settings are divided into a few key areas: Layout, Manage your Team (with six sub-tabs), and the Team Shortcode.

Layout Settings: Structure and Appearance
Setting | Purpose | Key Choices Shown in Images |
Layout Type | Defines the overall presentation and information density of the team cards. | Various card arrangements (e.g., Grid, Carousel). |
Style Type | Selects the visual design, color palette, and specific card style. | Different color themes and image-text alignments. |

These settings control the visual presentation and structure of the team member cards.
Layout Type
Choose how your team members will be displayed. Each layout offers different visual styles and information density. The images show a selection of four main layouts with different card arrangements.
Style Type
Select a specific visual Style Layout Type from a set of predefined styles. The images show styles ranging from simple colored blocks to more complex card designs with image and text arrangements.
Columns
Define the number of columns the team member cards will occupy across different device sizes:
- Mobile Columns: Number of columns on mobile devices (≤768px).
- Tablet Columns: Number of columns on tablet devices (769px – 1024px).
- Desktop Columns: Number of columns on desktop devices (≥1024px).
Manage your Team
This section has six tabs to fine-tune the content, filtering, display, and styling of your team members.
1. Content & Query
Controls which members are shown and the display order.
Setting | Purpose | Examples |
Filtering | Include/exclude members by Team Groups (taxonomy) or Specific IDs. | Groups like CEO, Photographer; Exclude IDs like 4, 5, 6. |
Ordering | Set the Total Members count, Sort By field (e.g., Name), and Sort Direction (e.g., Ascending). | Sort by Name (Alphabetical). |
Carousel Settings | Control slider behavior (if applicable). | Enable Autoplay, Show Arrow, Show Dot navigation. |
This tab controls which team members are displayed and in what order.
- Team Groups: Select one or more groups (e.g., CEO, Design, Photographer) to include.
- Total Members: Set the maximum number of team members to display.
- Sort By: Choose how to order the team members (e.g., Name (Alphabetical)).
- Sort Direction: Choose ascending (A-Z, Older First) or descending.
- Include Specific IDs: Comma-separated list of team member post IDs to explicitly include.
- Exclude Specific IDs: Comma-separated list of team member post IDs to explicitly exclude.
- Enable Autoplay: Toggles automatic slideshow movement (if the selected layout supports it).
- Show Arrow: Toggles the display of previous/next navigation arrows.
- Arrow Position: Sets the placement of the arrows (e.g., Top Right).
- Show Dot navigation: Toggles the display of pagination dots.
2. Advanced Filters
Use this tab for advanced filtering based on taxonomy and date.
Provides more complex filtering options based on taxonomies, keywords, and date ranges.

Taxonomy Relation | Set the logic for multiple group queries. | OR (match any) or AND (match all). |
ID/Term Filtering | Specify term IDs or post IDs to Include or Exclude. | Include IDs: 12, 15, 18; Exclude Terms: 7, 9. |
Other Filters | Filter by Keyword (in title/content) and a Date From/To range. | Date Range: 2025-01-01 to 2025-12-31. |
- Taxonomy Relation: Defines the relationship for multiple taxonomy queries (e.g., OR or AND).
- Include Terms (IDs): Comma-separated term IDs to include.
- Exclude Terms (IDs): Comma-separated term IDs to exclude.
- Keyword: Search team members by a specific keyword in the title or content.
- Date From: Start date for filtering (YYYY-MM-DD).
- Date To: End date for filtering (YYYY-MM-DD).
3. Display Options
Control the visibility of individual content elements on the team member cards.
Toggles the visibility of specific content fields on the member cards.

4. Pagination & Filters

6. Styling & Theming
Customizes the colors and spacing of the team section.

Customize the colors, typography, and card appearance.
- Theme Preset: Select a default styling preset (e.g., Default – Standard card styling).
- Primary Color: Color for buttons, links, and accents.
- Background Color: Overall background color for the team section.
- Card Background: Background color for individual team member cards.
- Title Color: Color for team member names and titles.
- Text Color: Color for descriptions, bio, text, and other content.
- Social Icon Color: Color for social media icons and links.
- Card Border Radius: Choose a preset or custom CSS value.
- Custom Border Radius: Enter a custom value (e.g., 10px, 1rem).
- Grid Gap: Space between team cards (e.g., None (0px)).
- Custom Grid Gap: Enter a custom value (e.g., 10px, 1rem).
- Dark Mode: On/Off toggle.
- Custom CSS (scoped): A text area to add custom CSS that will be scoped to this specific team block/shortcode.
Team Shortcode & Publishing
Publish Box
- Status: Indicates the current status (e.g., Published).
- Visibility: Indicates who can see the team (e.g., Public).
- Published on: Date and time of publication.
- Update button: Save changes.
- Move to Trash link: Delete the shortcode configuration.

This box provides the shortcode you need to insert the team display into any page or post.
