Introduction Welcome to WP Team Manager! This plugin is designed to help you create professional, responsive team directories, sports rosters, and staff “About Us” pages without writing a single line of code.

Whether you are using Elementor, Gutenberg, or the Classic Editor, you can have your first team section live in just 3 steps.

Step 1: Installation & Activation

  1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  3. Search for “WP Team Manager”.
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate.
  5. Using the Pro Version? Upload the .zip file provided in your purchase email via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

Step 2: Add Your Team Members

Before you can display a grid, you need data.

  1. In your dashboard sidebar, click Team Manager > Add Member.
  2. Enter Name: Add the member’s full name in the title field.
  3. Member Info: Fill in the “Job Title,” “Email,” and “Social Links” in the meta box below the editor.
  4. Featured Image: Upload a high-quality photo in the “Featured Image” box (Right sidebar).
  5. Select Group: Assign them to a Department (e.g., “Management,” “Forward,” “Developer”) to use filters later.
  6. Click Publish.
  7. Repeat for all team members.

Note on Images: If your images look uneven or cropped, the Pro Version includes a Smart Crop feature that automatically centers faces and unifies sizes.


Step 3: Display Your Team

You can display your team anywhere on your site using your preferred method:

Method A: The Shortcode (Universal) Paste this shortcode into any Page, Post, or Widget:

[team_manager layout="grid" limit="10"]

Method B: Elementor (Drag & Drop)

  1. Edit your page with Elementor.
  2. Search for the “WP Team” widget.
  3. Drag it onto your page.
  4. Select your layout (Grid, List, Slider) from the settings panel.

Method C: Gutenberg Block

  1. Click the (+) button in the editor.
  2. Search for “Team Manager”.
  3. Select the block to insert your team grid instantly.
